As your state representative, I respect the exceptional responsibility given by you to me to listen to your concerns, earn your trust and to vote on your behalf.

In Olympia, where the influence of politics, money and power meet and legislation is the result, one quickly learns what a strong character really means.  With your support, I will continue to speak up for you and your interests. I will not allow the powerful Olympia special interests to decide “what is best” for you.

The Great Recession has affected us all and your voices are remarkably clear and unified on how to move forward.

• We need new family-wage, private-sector jobs created – not new taxes to pay.
• We need dramatic reforms to state government to end budget deficits plus a new culture of service and value – not more expensive hassles.
• We need adequate, stable and accountable funding and strong academic performance from our K-12 schools – not more excuses.
